PACKAGING
Axis-y products come in white and green design product packaging. The gel cleanser with a pump plastic bottle, wash-off mask pack in a plastic jar with a little spatula along with it, and the sunscreen in a plastic squeeze tube with a slim nozzle to help control how much product you use.
TEXTURE AND SCENT
Both the cleanser and sunscreen have a subtle-to-no scent, while the mugwort mask comes in a strong minty artemisia and green-ish scent. The cleanser has a gel-ish texture which I really love in a cleanser. The mugwort mask has a clay mask texture, however, creamier than most clay masks are. It comes with Adzuki beans that help exfoliate the skin. Lastly, the physical sunscreen has a light texture, not too creamy and not too watery, just the perfect blend of both.

HOW TO USE
- Axis-y Quinoa One-Step Balanced Gel Cleanser – I use this day and night on wet skin, of course, and rinse thoroughly after massaging my face for a few seconds.
- Axis-y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack – I use this once a week, however, when I’m a lazy bum it could take me once in two weeks. You can use this 2-3 times a week as per Axis-y but it’s up to you really. I use this only on parts where my pores are more visible, I massage it first before I let it stay for 15 minutes to harden before rinsing.
- Axis-y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen – Use this every morning, of course, on both face and neck. Reapply when needed.
MY EXPERIENCE
- Axis-y Quinoa One-Step Balanced Gel Cleanser
This product claims to remove makeup, however, if you wear heavy makeup it is still suggested to use an oil-based cleanser or micellar water to fully remove them and follow it with a water-based cleanser. As for me, I can use it alone at night to remove blush and lip tint but I still pair it up with an oil cleanser or micellar water especially when I’m on pamper-mode. What I love about this the most is that it doesn’t leave my skin dry and feeling tight after using. The application feels amazing since it’s a gel cleanser and I love them more for my combination-to-oily skin. This helps prepare my skin for the next skincare steps. Definitely worth it to stock up, however, still, it’s not good enough as a makeup remover.
- Axis-y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack
I’ve seen this a lot on Instagram and it was really hyped during the pandemic. I was very intrigued since most of the reviews were good and that the product worked wonders on pore care. As for me, when I first tried it, I felt a burning sensation for the first few seconds but luckily it calmed down. It wasn’t the best impression knowing that it’s really hyped on social media. I continued to use it, regardless, and I was glad it didn’t burn up. I would reach out to this whenever my pores act up especially during the summer season. It works but not as how I see from social media reviews. I guess I should invest in getting BHA as it’ll help more on cleaning off the gunk from the pores!
- Axis-y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen
A physical sunscreen without leaving any white cast? I’m a morena girl, which is also known as naturally brown/tanned girl and I would really appreciate it if physical sunscreens work the same wonders as this sunscreen! I may be outdated in some way as I’ve only been keeping an eye on Korean skincare but I’d appreciate it if you share in the comments what other physical sunscreen works the same as this. This product blends in really well and doesn’t leave my skin with any tackiness, and it doesn’t cause any piling. It’s like another layer of moisturizer for your morning routine. However, I’ve seen from their website about coral reefs and sunscreen, and I’ve also seen Lab Muffin Beauty Science that there is not enough evidence or researches to prove this dilemma.

- Axis-y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack – 4.5/5 I love how it feels when applying on my face, and I could reach out to this every time my husband and I would create video content for YouTube.
- Axis-y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen – 5/5 It is what it claims to be! No white-cast, no stickiness, and no piling! It’s just like another moisturizer on top of your moisturizer feeling!
