Wishtrend fam kindly provided me two elmt solutions for me to try out. Since I have breakout-prone and dehydrated skin, they gave me elmt Skin Activating Solution and elmt Skin Illuminating Solution which I’ll be talking about in this blog review. 😉

PACKAGING
Both products are housed in a green translucent glass bottle with a white rotating lid. It comes in a very minimal and clean design packaging, however, looks like a pharmaceutical when I first saw it.
TEXTURE AND SCENT
The Skin Illuminating Solution comes in a clear watery solution, while the Skin Activating Solution comes in a light brown to orange-ish water-like texture. Both of them doesn’t bare any noticeable scent.

HOW TO USE?
I prefer using the Skin Activating Solution with cotton pads as I feel like it absorbs pretty well than just using my palms, however, I use the Skin Illuminating Solution with my palms although I use it with cotton pads some other days when my skin needs that push for hydration. Use each of them after cleansing to prepare your skin for the next steps of your routine.
SKIN ACTIVATING SOLUTION EXPERIENCE
I’m going to talk about this first since I used this first. I don’t really suggest using two new products on your routine because you can’t tell which product is causing or doing this or that.
First of all, I’m so glad Wishtrend sent me both of them as they both targets my skin concerns. With this product, I can use it when my skin is irritated or if I get any post-stress-post-lifestyle zits, and it does a good job of keeping them from getting worse! It is fast-absorbing, however, using cotton pads is easier since I’m not comfortable using my palms for a watery solution (it is, by the way, like water texture). Regardless of its texture, my skin feels plumped and hydrated, which is actually amazing! Overall, I’m pleased to have added this to my routine as someone living in the city with all the lifestyle and environmental stress.
SKIN ILLUMINATING SOLUTION EXPERIENCE
A week after I used the Skin Activating Solution, I introduced the Skin Illuminating Solution to my skin. It has a watery texture, however, I saw a major difference when applied to my skin using my palms. It had a slightly creamy texture the same as those with Korean essences (for example, I’m from Mugwort Essence) when applied to the face. It’s a nice addition to your routine if you’re targeting skin hydration and brightening. It sinks into my skin pretty well and doesn’t leave any stickiness! It leaves my skin hydrated and plumped and it gives my skin that extra boost of glow in the morning.
However, this product stings when I have irritated skin. It didn’t cause any breakouts as I’m aware I am causing my breakouts. So when I know I have irritated skin, I’d switch to Skin Activating Solution.
OVERALL RATING:
5 out of 5 for Skin Activating Solution as it really does what it claims regardless of the texture.
4.5 out of 5 for Skin Illuminating Solution, the stinging caused the 0.5 but it’s overall a great product if you’re looking for an extra boost of hydration and brightening!
