WHAT IS IT AND WHAT DOES IT SUPPOSED TO DO?
By Wishtrend’s Quad Active Boosting Essence is a lightweight essence that contains 4 different active ingredients, hence called Quad Active. These ingredients provide anti-inflammatory and hydrating benefits. Moreover, By Wishtrend claims that it will be effective and efficient that it can replace your face serums.
PACKAGING
This essence comes in a beautiful yellow to golden glass packaging, with a golden rotating lid. It’s not heavy as it only comes at 100ml size.
TEXTURE AND SCENT
The texture is watery-like, lightweight, and light yellow to a clear transparent color. There isn’t any noticeable scent but a I get a tinge of propolis scent but I guess it’s just my mind meddling with me being that it’s a yellow pretty product.

- Propolis Extract (1%) – heals and restores skin; soothes problematic skin

HOW TO USE?
Personally, I used this essence as a toner because of its lightweight texture. I use it with cotton pads (I know I need to invest in reusable cotton pads). Then, I use my palms to add an extra layer.
MY EXPERIENCE
How did it feel on the first application? It was okay. I guess I expected more because it was really a hyped product. I didn’t get the wow factor I usually get from essences, however, I still do think it’s a pretty lightweight texture.
Did it cause a breakout to my skin? The tricky part of testing different products, so I really try to use one new product at a time. I have a history of getting skin irritation from using fermented products (I assumed I had fungal acne but it wasn’t really the issue), moreover, this product contains fermented ingredients but I still chose to try since it was a hyped essence. It didn’t cause any breakouts but every after I finish my routine I felt a slight stinging which dissipates in a few minutes and mind you, I only add one new product every 2-3 weeks (though I don’t ADD every 2-3 weeks).
Do I think it could replace my current face serums? I know this is what they claim but for me I don’t think it can replace my face serums or even other essences that I love.
Was it hydrating enough? It is hydrating but not enough. The finish is silky but if your skin is going through rough times it could change to something sticky, so you really need to properly layer your routine.
Would I find myself reaching out to this when it finishes? I finished half of the product already but stopped using it when I once experienced skin irritation NOT from this product but from stress and life always flooping on me. I couldn’t find myself going back to this product for now as I needed a soothing skincare routine.
Would I recommend this to you? I know this question is a bad habit because we all have different skin types and skin concerns so I am going to stick to my answer that it really depends on what skin type you have or skin concern you need to work on. If you’re looking for an anti-inflammatory and hydrating product I think you could give this a try, otherwise, just use products your skin really needs.

FINAL VERDICT and OVERALL RATING: It is still a hydrating product so I’ll give it a 3 out of 5 stars! I probably need to use this again once my skin is back to its “better” state and I should be able to give an update when I fully finish the product or not.
