Im From Vitamin Water Tree Gel Product Review

What is it and what does it supposed to do?

This gel moisturizer contains 68% Vitamin Tree Leaf Water extracted from infused vitamin tree leaves. The product applies with a cool sensation to provide excellent moisturizing and brightening effects.

Let’s list the major benefits that we will about to rate at the end of this review:

  • Excellent moisturizing effects
  • Brightening effects

Packaging

The product is housed in a glass jar packaging just about the same as I’m From Wash-off Masks but in a smaller size! Careful with the green packaging around it, to keep it the same avoid splashing water on it as it gets crumpled easily.

Texture and Scent

Since is this review has been way overdue, I wasn’t able to snap the product texture! It’s a water gel so you’d expect a warm shade translucent thick gel texture. The scent is kind of earthy, very subtle, and doesn’t linger when applied.

My Experience

It wasn’t love at first use. I experienced stinging on my breakout-prone area but I continued using it. It was also an on and off kind of thing because I was too occupied trying out other products [yes, I was that kind of skin-thusiast, and please don’t be like that kind of me]. It was wintertime when I first used this so I needed a richer moisturizer that won’t clog my pores. I have a combination to oily and dehydrated skin so I’m prone to flakiness and irritation without the proper moisture. Some reviews said that this wasn’t enough during the winter season but I guess for my skin it worked pretty well!

I continued using this one even with the slight stinging that dissipates after a few minutes. It’s easy to spread as it has a gel texture and is absorbed by the skin pretty well with no sticky residue. I mostly use this at night so I always wake up with plumper skin in the morning! I did not experience breaking out and it’s a big deal for me as I’m prone to breaking out with moisturizers! It really does gives off a cooling sensation when applied to the skin and add that up with extra soothing care. Luckily for me, I experienced using this during winter in Dubai, and winter-season-but-it-still-feels-like-summer in the Philippines [I was in the Philippines from Dec 2019 to January 2020]. Both seasons worked for me but I kind of enjoyed this much during summertime!

The silly part is that I never knew this had a Vitamin C in it, listed second to the last in the ingredients list, and Vitamin Tree or Sea Buckthorn [the main ingredient] is known to be rich in Vitamin C. I wasn’t that too knowledgeable and I was too excited to use it I didn’t check the ingredients, I was too hasty and it felt like my knowledge in skincare was still so young [that was last year only!]. I’m just glad nothing bad happened to my skin and at least now I know my skin can tolerate this kind of ingredient!

Rating on every major benefit claimed by the product:

  • Excellent moisturizing effects ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
  • Brightening effects ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 *note: I didn’t see any brightening effects after using a whole tub.

Precautions

Individuals that can’t tolerate Vitamin C should do more further research or at least try out their samples first before purchasing the bigger ones.

FINAL VERDICT and OVERALL PRODUCT RATING: 4/5 overall it worked pretty well for me for both seasons! It’s moisturizing and soothing and didn’t broke out when using this. The cooling sensation adds up as an extra care as well!
