At the back of mind I will always feel that this review is wayyyy overdue. Why? Because I’m already on my fourth bottle of this cleansing product! I first used this last April 2018 (but it really felt that we’ve been together for more than a year!) AND I wasn’t fully aware of product reviews. All I know is if it’s good for me then I’ll share with the best of my interest to my friends and family, and I will post it on my socials.
You might already have an idea how this worked for me given the bottles I finished but do hear me out on this so I can also share the goodness not only the product but also my journey with the brand itself.
Not too long ago, the KraveBeauty team from Korea offered to gift me their whole product line! YASSS! And to be honest by that time I already ordered two Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser (yo girl need to stock up!) and one Great Barrier Relief (yo girl on second bottle). One unofficial retailer went to Korea by that time and offered that they’ll buy the products for me. Now that makes it three new cleansers (thinking of doing a giveaway but we’ll get to that once decided). 😉
Back to the gifts, so yeah they gifted me their whole line and you have no idea how happy I was that day. They are the first brand to send me a gift and they’re my all-time favorite brand! The KraveBeauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, as per their product description, “an antioxidant cleanser that doesn’t mess up your skin barrier, lifting everything your skin doesn’t want while leaving what it needs—healthy pH, hydration, antioxidants and no irritation. Matcha and hemp seeds are here to boost the skin’s intake of antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Your skin and this cleanser might be a matcha made in heaven!” This product contains 40% of Matcha goodness!
Its pH level is slightly acidic with a range from 5.0 to 6.0, it may slightly differ due to the different production times.
Packaging
This one comes in a squeezable tube which is really great in controlling the amount I need to use! Also the branding itself is minimal but really eye-catching because when you first look at it it looks like a canvas I work on in an InDesign file [magazine types]!
Texture and Scent
It has a jelly-type texture with a yellow to dark-ish yellow color. I’m not sure about the matcha scent but I really fancy the smell of being something earthy and fresh!

It’s $16 and only available at www.kravebeauty.com. They don’t ship worldwide right now but they already are starting to ship to Singapore and Malaysia so you better follow them for future updates.
I got my KraveBeauty products from unofficial retailers and had to pay a few more bucks but I don’t mind it since they work well for me. 😉

My Experience
With all honesty, I just started doing a full skincare routine religiously last April 2018 when I first had this cleanser. I also started to watch Liah Yoo’s videos on YouTube and began reading blogs about skincare. Before I found out about this cleanser I was using Western brands that stripped my skin and was very drying after use (I thought that was normal). I will not deny that I neglected taking care of myself. But sometimes we just have to learn it the hard way!
So when this cleanser was introduced to me, it was a whole new world (OMG!). Never have I ever used a product that cleanses and still hydrates your skin right after using. This was a game-changer for me. It didn’t strip my skin and my skin felt soft and bouncy. It easily glides on the skin and it feels so gentle (also good for sensitive skin since I have sensitive skin now). It might not cleanse away all dirt and makeup if you use heavy makeup but you should use an oil-based cleanser first before using a water-based cleanser. It’s not too foamy and it worked well with my skin even when my skin changed over time. I had dry skin 2-3 years ago but now I’m combination to oily but this cleanser still worked the same.
You still want to ask if I’m repurchasing? Since I’ve already told you I’m on my 4th bottle now. :3

Some reviews says that it’s a basic cleanser but I’ve been coming back to this one from trying out other cleansers. I may have found a few cleansers that also works the same but I will still have this cleanser in my stash waiting for me.
