WHAT IS IT AND WHAT DOES IT SUPPOSED TO DO?
I’m From Rice Toner contains 77.78% of Yeoju Rice Extract that is an effective brightening ingredient and also improves skin elasticity. It is a hydrating toner that forms a protective barrier over the skin to prevent water loss and provide a layer of moisture on to the skin. Its core benefits include brightening (currently says whitening on Wishtrend’s website but I think they meant brightening), improves skin elasticity, and provides another layer of hydration.
PACKAGING
The product comes in a sturdy clear glass bottle, the usual packaging of I’m From products. The over-all color palette of the packaging makes you think it’s really from the rice fields as it comes in white and beige. I’m careful when it comes to I’m From products as the paper on the packaging gets wrinkly when in contact with water (we don’t wanna ruin such a gorgeous packaging).
TEXTURE AND SCENT
I’m From Rice Toner doesn’t have a fragrance but the scent that comes with the product came from the key ingredient: RICE. It comes with a milky water-texture that creates another lightweight film on your face. Just make sure to shake it well before pouring it to your palm!

HOW TO USE?
I use this right after cleansing morning and evening. It’s very important that you shake it well before you pour it on to your palm or your cotton pads. For me, I use my palms and spread, pat onto the face until fully absorbed.
MY EXPERIENCE
I checked on the ingredients list on InciDecoder and found out this product consists of humectants and emollients and that just explains the feel when I use this toner. By using my palms I get to feel more of it than just using cotton pads, and plus I think it’s added benefits for palms and not just on the face. I currently have an exfoliating toner opened and I’m From Rice Toner for hydration. At first, I was hesitant about using this product because of my experience with some fermented ingredients BUT TAKE NOTE this doesn’t have fermented ingredients. It just felt like since it’s rice it’s fermented (yeah, that’s how silly I am most of the time).
Packaging’s so simple that you’ll never know it’ll be something out of the ordinary. It has a milky texture and it creates another lightweight non-sticky film on my face. It’s not heavy nor doesn’t feel suffocating on my skin. It’s very creamy when you spread it on to your skin and might take a few more seconds to get absorbed so you’ll need to pat until fully absorbed. The finish? Soft to touch skin like a baby’s bum!
This product has helped me with its hydrating benefits when I had my phases of dehydration! I’ve reached for this a lot more than my exfoliating toner since I needed it more. Partnered along with By Wishtrend’s Pure Vitamin C 15% with Ferulic Acid they’ve both improve my skin’s elasticity making it so soft throughout the day!
I mean, why the heck was I so hesitant in the first place? I should’ve known!
Rating on every major benefit claimed by the product:
- Brightening —–/5 – it’s hard to know since I’ve also used this with a Vitamin C serum so I’m not keen to give this any stars but I did notice that my skin has brightened but that’s with the help of the Vitamin C serum

- Hydrating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
FINAL VERDICT and OVERALL RATING: I’m almost out of the product and I’ve noticed I’ve finished this one fast! I’d purchase this one again after I finish my current toners or because WINTER IS COMING soon! I’d give this a 5 out of 5 stars, of course!
